Cloud computing is a transformative technology for education, providing on-demand resources and novel opportunities for teaching and learning. This paper presents a comprehensive review of cloud computing in education, covering the architecture, application ecosystems, and case studies in high school and higher education. We outline a typical cloud architecture for educational institutions, illustrate how popular cloud-based applications as learning management systems and collaboration tools are utilized, and compare adoption patterns between primary schools and universities. We also summarize the key advantages such as cost efficiency, scalability and challenges as data privacy, internet reliance associated with educational cloud adoption. This integrated analysis demonstrates how cloud-based infrastructure and services can transform educational environments at all levels. The findings highlight that, with thoughtful implementation, cloud services can enhance educational access, flexibility, and innovation. Finally, we discuss emerging trends such as AI integration and cloud-native strategies and offer recommendations to help educators and administrators maximize benefits while mitigating risks.
