A routing framework is a critical component of computer networking that defines principles and techniques for effectively routing data packets from source to destination. It facilitates communication processes, improves network speed, and assures consistent data flow. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is constructed with distributed sensors that collaborate to monitor environmental or physical factors. WSN are essential in a variety of applications. Routing frameworks and WSNs are both essential elements in modern communication systems, allowing for effortless transmission of data and innovative approaches across multiple domains. In this research, we aim to develop an optimized routing framework with cross-layer protocol designs for enhancing WSN cyber security. We presented an Intelligent Snake Optimization (ISO) for enhanced routing techniques, which has optimal effectiveness in WSNs. This study introduces a cross-layer design-integrated selfoptimized (ISO) routing protocol for WSN security. This innovative approach desires to address the specific challenges of WSN communication by providing secure and effective data transmission through intelligent routing strategy coordination and cross-layer optimizations. We utilized various parameters including velocity, Link quality, and energy level to identify an optimal route. Timestamp, Signal strength, and remaining power parameters are transmitted from the physical layer to the network layer. The selection provided by the WSN will determine the most efficient path from source to destination. The implemented cross-layer design assists ISOin enhancing the entire data delivery ratio.
