The paper presents the use of different resources connected to the grid by power electronics (inverters) for ensure frequency stability, when the network is in the emergency state (frequency out of range$49.8-50.2 ~\text{Hz}$). The goal is to prevent the frequency from falling further to the critical threshold of 49 Hz, which trigger underfrequency load shedding. Three different frequency responses were compared and the simplified twenty areas dynamic models of the Continental Europe was used. This model is used for simulation of system splits, during which large frequency deviations occur and therefore there is a risk of frequency collapse.
