Contemporary communication systems have significantly sought to balance digital signal processing with analog circuitry. In wireless communications, essential techniques involve tuning, filtering, and decimating the incoming signal. The intended objective of this research is to create an effective multiplierless decimation filter with Cascaded Integrator Comb Filter (CIC) and desensitized Half-band Filter (HBF) that can be used in multi-standard wireless applications such as IEEE 802.11 ac and IEEE 80.2.11ax. Initially, CIC and HBF are designed using super-fast parallel prefix adders such as HCA and LFA to achieve optimal performance. In an effort to reduce the stopband ripple and passband droop of the proposed filter, a distinctive polynomial function is employed to build the filter that produces better results than previous research. Finally, all these filter structures are combined together with a control switch to design the proposed decimation filter structure.
