Explainable AI has emerged as a powerful tool for drug discovery and development. In this study, machine learning (ML) is used for drug classification which is a key task in drug discovery. The machine learning algorithms that are used for drug classification are Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Tree, Random Forest, XGBoost, and Stacking Logistics Regression Random Forest Decision Tree model (SLRD). This study primarily focuses on drug prediction. From some data provided by the user, such as age, gender, blood pressure, cholesterol and sodium levels, the model can classify the person to a certain disease, and then the model itself predicts which drug is the most suitable for the person or user. Finally, we discuss the challenges and opportunities of using ML for drug classification.
