Research on Multimodal Video Surveillance System

With the intelligent development of industrial management, the application of video surveillance systems in production enterprises is gradually increasing, especially in the field of tobacco production and processing. Intelligent ball cameras and digital network monitoring systems have become key tools to improve production safety and management efficiency. However, traditional monitoring systems still face the inefficiency of manual operation in adjusting the preset positions of multiple cameras. In order to improve monitoring efficiency, this article proposes a solution based on Paddle3D three-dimensional perception technology, which deeply integrates three-dimensional perception with intelligent algorithms. Through the fusion of multimodal data, combined with point cloud and image data from sensors such as LiDAR and cameras, seamless integration between video surveillance systems and production processes has been achieved. This simplifies the operation process of monitoring equipment, improves the automation and response speed of monitoring systems, and promotes the intelligent upgrade of industrial production management.
