Study of analog emulation of quantum computing using quadrature modulation

Tyiryishkin S.YU. · Automation Modern Techologies · 2025

Quantum computing is a fairly well-studied area, but developing and maintaining large qubit systems poses many challenges. Maintaining a highly coherent quantum state through a series of gate operations to provide computational advantage to the systems is quite challenging, since any environmental interference can lead to a significant performance degradation. An alternative proposal to solve the problem of quantum physics modeling is to use the capabilities of quantum mechanical systems. The paper is devoted to studying the capabilities of analog emulation of quantum computing using quadrature modulation. An analog of a two-level system (and a potential qubit) with a pair of controlled LC-oscillators is described. The controlled pair of coupled oscillators creates normal modes that emulate the behavior of a two-level system. Keywords emulation, quantum computing, oscillator, physics, performance
