With the rapidity of blockchain technology, its features such as decentralization, non-tampering, and data traceability have been widely used in various industries. However, enterprises often face a large amount of human and financial investment in their own and maintenance of blockchain infrastructure, which has become a bottleneck for the large-scale implementation of blockchain technology. BaaS platforms have successfully cracked this problem by virtue of their simplicity and cost-effectiveness, and have become an important tool for enterprise digital transformation. However, BaaS platforms usually use blockchain technology with centralized key escrow to simplify user access to the ledger. This, while convenient, goes against the concept of blockchain decentralization and brings many security and performance issues. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes a novel key-free blockchain gateway scheme, where users are able to manage their private keys by themselves, avoiding the risk of third-party escrow and guaranteeing the overall security of the system. Secondly, the system models the verification step of signature, which improves the performance of the whole system. Finally, we carry out a comparative experiment on the whole system, and the experimental results show that compared with the traditional gateway, the key free gateway has lower CPU consumption and higher system security.
