Medical training is being transformed by augmented reality (AR). We present a context-aware AR system that delivers adaptive, task-specific content in real time to enhance medical education. Built on Apple’s ARKit, it overlays anatomical models and procedural guides onto the physical world for immersive learning. Context-awareness is enabled through sensor data, computer vision, and user interaction tracking. Implemented on iOS for accessibility, the system was tested with medical students in a clinical simulation. Results showed improved engagement, spatial understanding, and procedural recall compared to traditional methods. User feedback highlighted strong usability and educational value, supporting the broader use of context-aware AR in medical training.
