The development of plant phenotype requires higher demands for real-time monitor of the plant physiological characteristics. While continuous monitoring remains challenging in the potential influence on the normal physiological activities of plants. Here, we propose a wearable and breathable sensor to monitor the leaf moisture, which perfectly fit to the leaf surface and harmless on its physiological activities. The gradient porous architecture featuring multiscale nano-micro-channels facilitates rapid moisture transport while maintaining structural integrity, resulting in accurate moisture monitoring without compromising the plant physiological activities during 3 days wearing. Furthermore, a wireless system enables real-time moisture monitoring, which shows its promise for precision agriculture applications.
