OBJECTIVE: To explore the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in enhancing drug design and development processes within the pharmaceutical industry. SIGNIFICANCE: Drug design and improvement remain critical areas for chemical scientists and the pharmaceutical industry. Traditional drug development methods often suffer from low efficiency, unintended targeting, lengthy timelines, and high costs, posing significant challenges to the advancement of drug research.
