Edge computing eliminates the need to send data to the cloud for processing/execution, hence reducing latency and time complexity. Furthermore, advances in information technology and communication have enabled the solution to be saved, computed, and decided locally by developing an on-premise IOT solution. Edge computing with Artificial Intelligence provides continuous processing by preventing unexpected device failures and recognizing the need for predictive maintenance. The fast growth of IoT devices has raised the height of data creation, resulting in a massive flow of data. These sensitive data generated by IoT devices is mostly kept in the cloud paradigm, but the latency encountered in the transmission between cloud data centres and end-users has rendered the arrangement pointless. This has remained the motivation for many businesses or organisations to move away from the cloud paradigm and toward edge computing, which allows data to be processed or performed locally at the user's end, allowing for quicker computation and real-time decision making.
