Led by artificial intelligence, the world of information security is undergoing a revolutionary change. To find out how this sea change is shaping the future, this paper seeks out the hallmarks. It dissects and analyzes the outcome of AI potential threats to revolutionize security posture, looking at in turn its potential impact on threat detection and response. A variety of AI methods (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing) and their effectiveness are detailed in reference to contemporary cybersecurity problems. Then it also briefly touches on both the positive and negatives of AI from this perspective.
