Multimedia data have to be safeguarded with some good security mechanisms against unauthorized access in this rapidly growing digital media. Encryption forms an essential part of ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of the data. This study presents a hybrid cryptographic scheme of secure key management using Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and high-speed encryption with the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). It targets real-time performance with low computational overhead in enhancing multimedia data security. The study covers various datasets for encryption strength, processing speed, and impact on multimedia quality. The results show that the hybrid ECC-AES method is not only more secure but also provides faster encryption/decryption and better adaptability to multimedia compression standards compared to traditional encryption methods. These findings ultimately have an implication in digital rights management (DRM), secure media transmission, and confidentiality preservation in contemporary digital applications.
