Individuals worldwide are intrigued by the advancements in related technology like metaverse that have emerged recently. In the virtual realm known as the Metaverse, people have assumed in the form of portraits to navigate around a digital universe that is closely interconnected with physical reality. Modern Metaverse systems depend on a cloud-based method to simulate character physics and do visual rendering calculations. The envisioned metaverse is anticipated to be a civilization that is more authentic and practical, where the notions of ethnicity, gender, and physical disabilities are diminished, leading to significant advantages for society. However, the metaverse is now in its early stages of development, leaving much space for enhancements. The integration of technology with the Metaverse platform will undoubtedly be a new milestone for enhancing technology footprints in the near future. The centralized architecture is disadvantageous due to many problems resulting from the significant latency involved in accessing the cloud, leading to inferior visualization quality. In this chapter the detailed conceptual framework of convergence technology has been elaborated, and challenges of the technologies in view of Metaverse platforms have been discussed with a futuristic view.
