Edge computing has become a critical paradigm to address the challenges of latency, bandwidth, and processing in distributed systems. Efficient resource allocation within edge networks is essential to maintaining Quality of Service (QoS) and optimizing overall system performance. This paper presents an innovative resource allocation strategy based on a Game-Theoretic Voting System (GTVS). The proposed approach facilitates fair and efficient resource distribution across competing edge devices and tasks by combining elements of cooperative and non-cooperative game theory with voting-based frameworks. Comparative analysis with conventional allocation techniques highlights the GTVS’s ability to enhance resource utilization, promote fairness, and reduce task completion times.
