This paper presents a comparative analysis of AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) and AES-RSA (AES combined with RSA) hybrid encryption techniques for securing visual data integrity. Visual data integrity is crucial in various domains such as healthcare, surveillance, and communication. The study evaluates the efficiency and security of AES and AES-RSA hybrid encryption methods in protecting visual data against unauthorized access and tampering. AES encryption, a symmetric key algorithm, is widely used for its robustness and efficiency in securing large volumes of data, including visual content. The AES-RSA hybrid encryption approach combines the strengths of AES for bulk data encryption with RSA asymmetric encryption for securely managing the AES key. Experimental results and performance analysis compare the effectiveness and computational overhead of AES and AES-RSA hybrid encryption techniques. Factors such as encryption decryption time provide insights into the strengths and limitations of each approach. This research contributes to understanding encryption techniques for securing visual data integrity and offers practical guidance for selecting suitable encryption methods based on specific application requirements and security considerations.
