The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the Fintech industry has revolutionized financial services by enhancing efficiency, enabling personalized customer experiences, and driving data-driven decision-making. However, this rapid technological advancement also raises critical concerns surrounding data privacy and ethical data usage. Fintech companies increasingly rely on vast amounts of sensitive personal and financial information to train AI systems, making them vulnerable to data breaches, algorithmic bias, and regulatory scrutiny. This paper explores the complex intersection of AI and data privacy within Fintech, highlighting the opportunities and risks associated with AI-driven innovation. The authors conducted interviews with 30 Fintech users to identify the facilitating and risk perceived factors, thus providing implications for the industry and stakeholders.
