An Integrated Breast Cancer Predictor Leveraging Mendix and Machine Learning

A new chapter in healthcare history has begun with the integration of machine learning (ML) and Mendix, a low-code development platform. This combination provides a straightforward, effective, method for implementing sophisticated ML-driven healthcare solutions. Mendix is well-suited for managing sensitive health data and facilitating large-scale installations due to its scalability and strong security. The objective of this paper is to create awareness of breast cancer through a simpler predictive interface leveraging Mendix and machine learning. By consuming a machine learning model in combination with Mendix API capabilities, the user input will be analyzed and compared against vast clinical data sets, giving rapid & accurate disease predictions. To summarize everything, Mendix provides the ability to enable our app to give personalized feedback, which can improve the detection and management of diseases with beneficial results for patients and healthcare professionals. The paper elaborates on model hosting and experimental results for readers’ understanding and judgment.
