This paper presents a network design tailored for today’s advanced business that demands designed security, a scalable and high capacity network to support cloud computing and international communication. They use the hierarchical model with VLAN segmentation addressing the problem of strong isolation and successful resource management. Cisco ASA firewalls build inside, outside, and DMZ layers that will protect from internal and outside threats. Resilience is done by having connection to two ISPs and two Ether Channels, using HSRP to keep the amount of client offline to a minimum. Wireless Central Networking is the management of central wireless LAN controllers. VoIP services have their own VLAN so that the communication is straightforward and make use of Quality of Service. Hence, OSPF has been applied to dynamic routing and scalability. This approach makes the model future proof and also conclusively capable of responding to all requirements of the enterprise with extra layers of safety against more advanced cyber threats.
