Secured Multi-Layer Blockchain-Enabled 5G Network Enhanced by UAVs to Improve Medical Applications

Aditya P. Bakshi, Akhil Gupta, Nitin Rakesh · 2025

The Internet of Things and UAVs have significantly progressed in exchanging healthcare data. In the modern world, necessary processes have already been initiated that are related to changing internet models and automating and digitizing numerous industrial and home applications. The two main obstacles in the current situation are privacy and data integrity and the exchange of healthcare-related data among the intermediary nodes. Data encryption is necessary to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information exchanged between nodes, particularly regarding medical records. In theory, it might not be possible to implement the usual encryption techniques across the connecting node, and it is not good to place excessive weight on the intermediary nodes. The paper discusses security issues with the current framework, strategies, and security solutions for UAVs in healthcare monitoring systems. The paper also covers a context-aware modern model based on Blockchain technology that will be implemented to encrypt data between nodes in a 5G network architecture. Several evaluation criteria have been used to analyze the proposed approach, and the results are better.
