motion of the single piano string E] has been measured by our handmade equipment.We have found the reads as following.(1) The piano sound 'm formed by the coupling of the vertical and harimntal vibrations, which occurs at the inclined pins of the bridge.(2) The string vibrates at rst mlcally to the soundboard and that it starts to rotate.The direction of the rotation changes aha-nater way about six seconds.(3) The rst direction of the rotation is not determined, it depends on how to touch the key.
