Securing blockchain-driven financial systems and other interconnected cyber networks has become of critical interest in recent years.This study highlights the intricacies of quantum computing as it poses an existential threat to the traditional cryptographic protocols safeguarding these ecosystems.A Quantum-Enhanced Risk Assessment Framework (QERAF) is proposed to address the potential vulnerabilities of current cryptographic systems, in particular, those relying on Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA), elliptic curves, and symmetric encryption schemes-due to the imminent threat of quantum algorithms like Shor's and Grover's.Likewise, the study analyzes impending threats to global financial infrastructures which include Bitcoin's ECDSA
