Blockchain and machine learning based user authentication for healthcare system

Shallu Sharma, Balraj Singh, Harwant Singh Arri · 2025

Recently machine learning (ML) has proven to be advantageous for the medical world. Smart healthcare devices are used for multiple reasons, and by connecting these devices, it is easy to perform medical distributed data analysis. The proposed work envisions the time when health record systems will be interconnected and accessible from anywhere. New technologies such as blockchain and ML have the potential to reshape the traditional domains in better ways. Through this chapter, we attempt to understand how the interconnecting and sharing mechanism of electronic health records is made and how ML can improve the security aspect of such systems. This interconnected network facilitates the efficient sharing of documents, health reports, and other intellectual assets not only across different medical branches but also with remote users.
