Agritech Smart Billing: Intelligent Checkout for Agri-Supply Centres

The manual billing systems of agricultural marketplaces tend to create inefficiencies like long queues, human errors, and time-consuming transaction processes. In this paper, an IoT-based Smart Billing System is proposed for automating checkout at agri-supply centers. In contrast to conventional vendor-oriented systems, our system uses RFID technology, sensors, and real-time billing modules to facilitate rapid and precise product selection and payment. Customers are issued tokens for every purchase, which are digitally monitored to increase operational transparency. The system is compatible with multiple payment gateways and uses Bluetooth for hassle-free mobile payments. Not only does this enhance the overall user experience but also supports digital transformation initiatives such as Smart Cities and Digital India. The design emphasizes reliability, scalability, and inclusivity by being compatible with multilingual interfaces and low hardware dependencies.
