An Analysis on the Implementation of Biometric Authentication on ATM Machines

Automated Teller Machines, or more commonly known as ATMs, are a common sight in urban areas all throughout the globe. Their primary purpose is it allows people to withdraw as well as deposit cash to and from a bank account without the need to visit a bank personally. ATMs are quite essential in the lives of a lot of people purely for their convenience. Due to it involving money, criminals tend to target ATMs, attempting to siphon out the cash that is inside the machines, through any means necessary. Due to how important and essential ATMs are to the average person in their daily life, we are proposing a new method of making ATMs much more secure. We propose that enhancing biometric authentication should be integrated within ATM machines to heavily improve their security
