The frequency and volume of online transactions have increased due to the quick development of electronic financial services and online commerce. Users are now more vulnerable to sophisticated cyberthreats due to the rise in digital financial activities. Therefore, safeguarding online transactions is of utmost importance. Preserving the integrity, confidentiality, and validity of transactions is crucial in a setting where private financial data is continuously shared. Cybercriminals use system flaws to perpetrate a range of crimes from widespread data breaches to credit card theft. In response, there are some measures needed to be taken for advanced security solutions that incorporate robust verification, user authentication, and modern encryption techniques to ensure the safety of both businesses and consumers. To address this urgent concern, a comprehensive and multi-layered approach is taken to safeguard online payment systems from emerging threats. Our proposed system will utilize the Luhn algorithm for card validation, multi-factor authentication through one-time passwords, honeypot CAPTCHA for bot detection, and dual encryption techniques that combine the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA) algorithms. This strategy will create a formidable barrier against fraudulent activity, ensuring the integrity of online financial transactions.
