IoT devices link via networks to create smart home systems, providing convenience to home users. The collaborative operation between IoT devices has led to an increasing focus on the security of IoT device. Smart home systems with effective access control methods have a critical impact on unauthorised user access to data. In this paper, we propose Hash-SHchain, a blockchain-driven access control mechanism for smart homes. By leveraging federated blockchain technology and the IPFS, we ensure secure storage of IoT data in smart home environments. To ensure efficient access control, we achieve dynamic visitor permission updates by authoring and deploying smart contracts. Moreover, administrators have the capability to calculate visitor rating based on the service of visitor. Furthermore, the election of miner, utilizing a hybrid PoW and PoS approach, incorporates the visitor's rating as equity. Through security analysis and performance evaluation, our solution not only protects data security, but also greatly reduces computational and communication costs.
