RESEARCH ON GENETIC ALGORITHMS: CONCEPTS, MODELS, AND APPLICATIONS

This research on genetic algorithms focuses on clarifying the concept, model structure, and practical applications of this algorithm. The article systematizes fundamental knowledge about genetic algorithms, from how they operate based on the mechanism of natural selection to core components such as fitness functions, crossover, mutation, and selection. The study is conducted through a theoretical overview, technical analysis of the algorithm, and experimental investigation using sample problems to demonstrate its effectiveness. The research results identify a standard model for genetic algorithms and prove their broad applicability in areas such as combinatorial optimization, scheduling, parameter tuning for machine learning models, and engineering design. The article also opens up prospects for applying genetic algorithms to emerging fields such as image processing, big data mining, multi-objective optimization, and solving complex problems in biomedical science.
