This two-day conference will showcase the critical role NSF funding has played in advancing scientific research and societal well-being. Participants will gain valuable insights about the broad impacts of NSF-funded projects, and the need to defend NSF and other government funding agencies. Eliminating the ability of these organizations to provide the leadership that has successfully guided US science and innovation for many decades will have a devastating effect on science, innovation, and the public good.
