Real-time eye blink detection devices for Morse coding translation achieve better system performance and reduced computational requirements to support exact communication for people with disabilities through assistive methods. The research presents a novel approach to detect Morse code by monitoring eye blinking for assisting speech and motor disabled individuals with communication needs. The system detects real-time eye blinks through computer vision analysis to translate the detected blink durations into readable text after symbol classification. The communication system built with Open CV, Dlib and Flask provides disabled people with an economical and unobtrusive and effective method to communicate. The research implements experimental testing to measure system performance and accuracy and practical usability while resolving issues with both environmental lighting conditions and head movement disturbances.
