In contemporary software engineering, human factors such as communication, flexibility, and analytical skills are main determinants that can greatly influence the successful result of a project. However, existing research is quite limited in its exploration of the economic consequences of incorporating these human factors into software development. This paper attempted to address the cost-benefit analysis of Human-Centric Approaches in the development of software. In this research work, we adopt both qualitative and quantitative approaches to compare the impact of human factors on software quality and the overall performance of the team. This highlights that though human integration involves initial expense of imparting training on human resources and changes in their management, the resultant benefits of better software quality, lesser defects, and efficient employees outweigh the costs in the long run. This research is beneficial to project managers and software engineers, as it offers key recommendations concerning how human factors may be effectively employed to ensure an efficient integration of the different projects in a software project context. Thus, building the reported gap between the technical and human elements of efficiency in software development, this work contributes to the development of the more technologically efficient and human-oriented field.
