The IIoT has transformed industrial processes by enabling instantaneous data analysis and judgment through interconnection between machines, sensors, and devices. The development of cloud, edge, and fog computing paradigms has coincided with the advancement of IIoT and has created distinct privacy and security problems. The convergence of edge computing and the IIoT allows for instantaneous data analysis processing and judgment at the edge of the network, resulting in increased efficiency and decreased latency. But this connection also creates new security holes, especially for malware assaults. The decentralized, immutable, and transparent characteristics of blockchain technology make it a viable tool for boosting IIoT edge environment security. The purpose of this survey is to investigate how edge computing and blockchain can work together to detect and stop malware threats in IIoT systems. In this study, we discover how blockchain technology can be used with edge computing and IIoT. This IIoT cluster on edge computing (EC) with blockchain is called Edge Block IIoT. This survey looks at how blockchain technology might improve malware attack detection and prevention in IIoT edge environments.
