The development of information technology has dramatically altered our way of life. Maintaining the validity and integrity of digital evidence presents significant issues due to the billions of devices linked to the internet and the massive amount of information they produce that needs to be stored and accessible. A scientific method for gathering, examining, and presenting evidence in court is known as digital forensics. The volatile and flexible nature of the evidence, as well as the ongoing technological advancements that add new attack vectors, provide numerous obstacles for the digital forensics community even though it has created a trustworthy scientific methodology and common standards in its workflows. Blockchain forensic is the phrase used to describe the technique where data from a blockchain is obtained. In this article, we cover recent case studies, blockchain security concerns, and OSINT Framework after providing a brief overview of blockchain and digital forensics. This paper also concentrates on exploring the utilization of blockchain as an application in emergency situations. This paper presents a system model designed for different user scenarios in post-disaster situations. This model aims to improve response efficiency, enhance transparency, and ultimately contribute to more resilient communities in the face of natural disasters.
