A note on storage allocation for the CDC 6600

Abstract In this paper the author discusses indications that a dynamic memory handling scheme can be advantageous on a multiprocessing machine such as the CDC 6600 and that the merits of such a scheme become more and more pronounced as the efficiency of the remainder of the operating is improved.
