Abstract Distributed multiagent systems (MASs) have received extensive attention due to its wide applications in both military and civilian fields, such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), intelligent transportation, networks, and intelligent robots. In complex environments, it is challenging to model many uncertainties and increase its cooperation. To address these issues, this paper proposes a novel multiprincipal asymmetric game method (MPAGM) to obtain the optimal solution to the multiagent layout on the range of localization. Furthermore, the global stability of the proposed method is analyzed. Unlike the previous work, which ignored the impact of the environments on the stability of MASs, this paper takes the time‐delay of states caused by environmental factors into consideration and describes the changes with singularities. Moreover, global stability of MASs has been analyzed. Finally, we provide several numerical examples to verify the feasibility and stability of the proposed MPAGM.
