Image processing is a key technique that is widely used worldwide. It involves converting an image to digital form and installing specific operations on it in order to extract some valuable data. When certain preset signal processing techniques are applied, all images tend to be analyzed by the image processing system as 2D signals. It entails adjusting and evaluating pictures to improve their quality, identify patterns, or retrieve data. Image processing involves modifying an image's characteristics to enhance its visual content for human comprehension. Classical image processing techniques incorporate predetermined guidelines and algorithms to fulfill precise goals like edge identification, object recognition, and image segmentation. However, these techniques often run into problems when dealing with complex and diverse visual data. The following article discusses the various kinds of images used in image processing, the basic procedures in image processing, and current computer vision methodologies.
