Comprehensive Strategies for Enhanced Image Security: Encryption and Water Marking Techniques
Kanakandla Vasudha, Nafis Uddin Khan · 2025
With the advancement of information technology, numerous interconnected devices facilitate data access and transmission, leading to significant security vulnerabilities. Effective strategies using conventional machine learning approaches have been proposed to address these concerns. Recently, image authentication techniques have gained attention for safeguarding images against unauthorized access. The hybrid data security techniques presented in this article use zero watermarking to protect transmitted color images copyright. It makes use of the advanced encryption standard (AES) algorithm and multi-channel orthogonal Legendre Fourier moments of fractional orders (MFrLFMs) on an affordable Raspberry Pi platform. Discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and singular value decomposition (SVD) are employed to investigate covert activities, enhancing the imperceptibility and robustness of watermarked images against various attacks. In medical imaging, encrypting confidential data before storage and analysis is a common security measure.
