The design and development of multiplayer AR games demonstrate the integration of virtual content with the physical environment to enhance user interaction. The game uses AR technology with a host-client design that allows two players to engage in real-time combat by controlling the AR Foundation’s augmented avatars displayed on stage. Each player’s avatar is equipped with a powerful health bar that can track damage during the game and enable interactive interactions. The fire truck is driven by electricity to ensure that the collision is consistent with real interaction. The game’s logic includes a health system that reduces the number of hits and provides clear gains and losses. The collaboration is powered by PUN, which provides seamless connections between players, actions, and new treatments. The user interface includes real-time feedback, such as health bar animations and menus with post-game restart or exit options. The system was evaluated on performance metrics such as latency and frame rate stability, demonstrating its suitability for broader use in interactive AR games. This work forms the basis for the development of multiplayer AR games that emphasize seamless interaction, control, and effective communication.
