After reviewing relevant literature and conducting market research, it is found that current domestic medication delivery robots have relatively simple functions. These robots face limitations such as a restricted number of medications that can be delivered at one time and low maneuverability. This paper designs a smart medication delivery robot based on the Raspberry Pi 4B. By optimizing path planning through infrared tracking and Yolov5 object detection, the delivery efficiency is improved. A seven-inch touchscreen is used to facilitate convenient interaction, while high-current drive and Mecanum wheels enhance power and flexibility. The innovative honeycomb medication box, combined with RFID technology, enables contactless, bulk medication management and precise delivery to patients. This design aims to reduce labor consumption, lower the risk of infection for medical staff and patients, and improve hospital operational efficiency, demonstrating significant market potential.
