A Cloud Resource Efficiency Measurement Model

To assist enterprises in optimizing cloud governance and addressing the current issue of high cloud resource costs and low resource efficiency for most enterprises, this paper elaborates on a cloud resource efficiency measurement model. The model consists of four parts: resource efficiency determination factors, resource efficiency determination rules, resource efficiency determination weights, and resource efficiency determination levels. It has gone through four steps: the design of a three-level structure of efficiency factors, factor classification, the combination of entropy weight method and analytic hierarchy process to determine weights, and the calculation of resource efficiency scores. The results of the model analysis can be used to guide enterprises in evaluating and optimizing their cloud resource efficiency based on the resource efficiency scores, and also provide quantitative references for cloud platform builders and operators.
