This paper explores the essential aspects of user interfaces for teleoperating mining vehicles and systems. Current interfaces have evolved from basic lineof-sight remote control systems, incorporating video displays to enhance functionality. Despite their simplicity, these interfaces have proven to be effective and profitable for teleoperation. Ongoing research in Exploration and Mining emphasizes the integration of non-visual feedback for operators and the efficient presentation of such information. The primary goal of the user interface is to meet key client requirements for mining systems, focusing on robustness, reliability, and user-friendliness for on-site operational and sup- port personnel. The implementation involves a rover controlled via a mobile device, utilizing Arduino for robot control and an ESP32 cam for video capturing and live streaming. This project addresses the crucial aspects of remote mining operations, ensuring a reliable and user-friendly interface to enhance overall system performance.
