High throughput and low latency indoor communication is pivotal in the progression towards Beyond 5G (B5G) and 6G networks. The unlicensed 60 GHz band has garnered significant attention due to its capability to deliver high data rates and low latency, especially through technologies like WiGig (IEEE 802.11ad/ay). This paper focuses on the performance evaluation of TCP congestion control algorithms in WiGig networks under the Reference Point Group Mobility (RPGM) model. By employing RPGM to simulate realistic group mobility patterns in indoor environments, we assess the algorithms using standard performance metrics. The evaluation identifies TCP Vegas as the optimal TCP congestion control algorithm that meets specific network demands, highlighting its effectiveness in group mobility scenarios characteristic of next-generation indoor communications.
