AFDX Network Configuration Update Based on Batch Data Load

Avionics Full Duplex Switched Ethernet(AFDX) provides deterministic virtual links for messages to be transmitted from one ARINC 664 end system to one or more ARINC 664 end systems. AFDX is constructed by switches and ARINC 664 end systems. Switch is used to forward message, limit network throughput and jitter [1]. Switch's behavior is under the control of AFDX network configuration, which is loaded into switch. Once new avionics software releases, usually following AFDX network configuration updating. Due to large number of switches and ARINC 664 end systems, generally AFDX network configuration updating leads to large work and much time. This study is aimed to design an approach to batch uploading AFDX network configuration, reducing workload and saving time.
