A Secure and Dynamic Access Control Framework for Logistics Management Using Consortium Blockchain

Buyue Zhou, Yeru Wang · 2025

The rapid development of e-commerce has made information security and access control a major challenge in logistics and transportation management. In order to solve the problems of single point of failure, insufficient data transparency and low manual operation efficiency in traditional centralized logistics management systems, a logistics and transportation management system based on consortium blockchain is proposed and implemented. The decentralized nature of the consortium blockchain is utilized to ensure data transparency and system stability. At the same time, a smart contract mechanism has been introduced to improve data processing efficiency and security. It innovatively combines the trusted third-party public key mechanism to achieve dynamic identity authorization and verification, and designs a fine-grained access control mechanism based on RBAC and ABAC models. Through experimental evaluation, the system has shown superiority in terms of transparency, credibility and access control in processing transportation data, which verifies the effectiveness of the logistics and transportation management system based on consortium blockchain in solving dynamic identity authorization and secure storage of information.
