ABSTRACT Nowadays, the internet has been a pillar of communication, which has positive aspects, since this technology has created a way to have greater access to information. Life seems to have become a little easier. Lately, even the money that used to be carried in your hand is no longer as efficient. It is difficult to find something that cannot be resolved via the internet. Shopping, bank transfers and even some hearings are held online. It is not a lie when we hear that we are in the age of technology, but like everything else, there are also negative aspects. A place where you do not have total control can be a constant danger. Just as not all people we meet in person are trustworthy, those we meet online and cannot identify their faces can present an equally serious danger. They can range from a simple link with a virus capable of stealing your personal data and hacking into your bank account or accessing intimate content, to a friendly call from an employee who uses the name of a possible bank that you are a customer of and tries to scam you, with the excuse of wanting to help in a non-existent situation. With the increasing cases of crime Cybercriminals need to be extra careful not to become a victim of a scam or digital fraud. Keywords: Technology. Scam. Fraud. Cybercrimes. Personal Data.
