Modern education in professional development requires integration of new technologies and methodologies for efficient data analysis. STEM technologies have had a significant impact on various productive and educational sectors. This study discusses and analyses the implementation of a didactic sequence among a group of 32 first-year engineering students at a private university in Mexico. The implementation of authentic scenarios in basic engineering courses focuses on kinematics to introduce modern technologies, such as GPS, into the educational environment, thereby enhancing the understanding and application of engineering concepts. The use of different STEM technologies, such as Arduino and Wolfram Mathematica, provides support for practical real-world scenarios, enhancing learning supported by authentic scenarios and real data to analyze and solve engineering problems.
