Direct Digital Synthesizers of Frequency-Modulated Signals

The article considers new structures of direct digital synthesizers of frequency-modulated signals, designed according to the direct digital synthesis method. The principle of the DDS operation is described and the main parameters of direct digital synthesizers are presented. The sphere of the DDS application is shown. Frequency synthesis systems find a wide application for radio engineering systems (RES) of different purposes: radiolocation, navigation and telecommunication, adaptive systems of communication and complexes of distant ionosphere sounding.
