By fusing digital data with the real environment, augmented reality (AR) technology has become a potent instrument for improving user experiences. The objective of this project is to create an Augmented Reality map for Sri Sairam Engineering College that will give visitors, instructors, and students an easy-to-use and engaging navigation experience. Users will be able to obtain real-time visual advice, comprehensive location data, and contextual information on a variety of campus facilities, including academic buildings, labs, libraries, cafeterias, dorms, and recreational spaces, thanks to the AR map. The suggested solution overlays virtual landmarks and navigation routes on the actual campus area using wearable technology or mobile applications with augmented reality capabilities. Real-time event updates, indoor and outdoor navigation, accessibility options, and point-of-interest identification are some of the main features. Campus 3D mapping, geo location service integration, and the creation of user-friendly interfaces using AR frameworks like AR Kit and AR Core are all part of the development process. This AR map seeks to enhance user engagement, lessen navigational difficulties, and promote a more intelligent campus ecology by providing a smooth fusion of virtual and real-world features. The research demonstrates how AR may be used to turn conventional mapping and navigation techniques into effective and engaging experiences.
