Novel theft detection systems that make use of Arduino-based solutions have been made possible by recent developments in security technology. In order to improve security in both home and commercial settings, this study proposes a reliable theft detection system that uses an Arduino platform coupled with a camera module and other sensors, selected for their reliability and ease of integration. The system uses a piezo sensor to identify vibrations that could be signs of tampering or break-ins, and an infrared sensor to keep an eye out for any unauthorised movement within a designated area. When any suspicious activity is detected, the camera module is triggered to capture an image of the invader. The obtained image is then compared with a database of authorised individuals that has been previously saved using image processing methods. The GSM module instantly notifies the system application, including the intruder's image, if the acquired image does not match any authorised profiles. With the help of a steady power source and efficient GSM connectivity, the project guarantees dependable functionality and ensuring reliable functionality through robust connectivity and a stable power source. Furthermore, jumper wires provide smooth component connections, guaranteeing effective control and data flow. The project intends to create a proactive and dependable real-time theft detection system by integrating various technologies, greatly lowering the danger of theft and unwanted access.
